Vytautas Matulionis is a history teacher-methodologist at Margarita Rimkevicaite
Technological School in Panevezys. In 1984 he graduated from Vilnius Pedagogical institute
(VPI, currently Lithuanian Educological University). Vytautas Matulionis is actively involved
in the process of studying about the occupations and their impact on Lithuanian society. He
actively participates in the educational programme framed by the International Commission for the
Evaluation of the Crimes of the Nazi and Soviet Occupation Regimes in Lithuania, joins different
projects, and implements school projects.
Vytautas Matulionis encourages his students to use ICT and create educational tools for better
understanding history, to feel the human condition in the grip of totalitarian state.
